I just gotta say, i've got a real Space Echo and also the UAD-plugin, and due to this thread i actually did a shoot out yesterday. UAD RE-201 doesn't get anywhere close the smear, warmth or three dimensionality that the real space echo provides. It's actually not even that close in overall character, and is actually a quite bad emulation. Dubb Box is a virtual tape delay, loosely modelled on my venerable Roland Space Echo. Does a fairly good job of emulating the tape saturation, unpredictability and wild self-oscillation of the real deal. Features main echo and 'second-tapehead' sub-echoes, as well as adjustable vintageness (tape hiss, motor inertia, tape and motor age).
Now that Wavosaur can work natively on 64 bit systems, we need some 64 bit VST plugin effects that are full 64 bit. Many of the free VST plugins are still 32 bit, but we have found some nice 64 bit plugins, for your needs : compressor, limiter, reverb, equalizer, filter, distorsion !

Conclusion:
Of course you can use the 32 bit version of Wavosaur if you still want to use 32 bit plugins (the majority of free plugins are 32 bit!) But nothing prevents you from using the two versions of Wavosaur : 64 bit when you need large amount of RAM for editing, and 32 bit when you need a large choice of VST plugins.
If you know very good free plugins in 64 bit, don’t hesitate to comment!

HoRNet Harmonics is a wave shaper. It lets you adjust the volume of the different harmonics of a sound.
Try removing the fundamental frequency by setting the first slider to zero—this creates a “broken record” sound.
The effect is very subtle on certain sounds, so experiment to find what you like.
